Pedram Motamedi, MD

Surgeon of the Hand and Upper Extremity

Dr. Pedram Motamedi is a fellowship-trained surgeon specializing in hand, microvascular, and upper extremity surgery. He provides comprehensive care for conditions affecting the hand, wrist, forearm, and elbow — from common overuse injuries and nerve compression to complex traumatic injuries, reconstructive procedures, and microsurgical repairs.
Born and raised in Arizona communities, Dr. Motamedi is proud to return to Phoenix to start his practice and serve the patients and families of his home state. He is dedicated to delivering personalized, compassionate care that helps patients of all ages and activity levels regain function, reduce pain, and return to the activities they enjoy. Whether treating a weekend warrior with a tendon injury, a professional with carpal tunnel syndrome, or a patient requiring complex microvascular reconstruction, Dr. Motamedi combines advanced surgical techniques with a thoughtful, patient-first approach.

Professional Experience

Following his fellowship, Dr. Motamedi gained additional specialized experience in hand, microsurgery, and reconstructive orthopaedics in Erie, PA (2025–2026). He is excited to bring this expertise back to Arizona.
